Melamine Lacquer is extremely durable (water and heat resistant) and is therefore also suitable for items that will see heavy use such as knives, notebooks, or pens. It dries after just 5 minutes while the complete chemical curing takes 7 days.
Chestnut Melamine Lacquer is free of petroleum-based solvents toluene and xylene. As a pretreatment, we recommend Chestnut Cellulose Sanding Sealer.
